But this doesn't appear to be an actual cabinet position, so he can pick some guy who may not even be a US citizen and give him complete control over the Federal government's entire IT operation without having to ask anyone it doesn't look like. It's absolutely absurd to claim a 30 year old from a foreign country is the best qualified person available in the entire US for this task as well. While the government could always use some fresh ideas this selection is outrageous.
I have worked as Contractor for Major Software Services corps on Fed. Computer Contracts. The employees of IRS SOCSEC CMS agencies can’t do Software very well themselves. No talent Bureaucrats who can’t write Software or manage Same. Fed employees retired on the job. Nothing will come of this....the Bureaucrats are un-movable objects.
