Agree. My final straw with her was her smear campaign against John Roberts when she insisted he would be "another Souter" and claimed Bush must have named Roberts because he hates conservatives. Roberts turned out to be a fine conservative but she has yet to admit she was wrong or apologize for all the baseless attacks she made on Judge Roberts.

Coulter's actions in the 2008 election -- where said Fred Thompson was RINO scum (but somehow Romney & Giuliani were great guys because they were "more conservative" than their home states) just reinforced my views. And no she did not "endorse Duncan Hunter", she said he was a great conservative (which is a no-brainer, it's what most of us said). And yes, she did PROMISE to campaign FOR the RAT nominee -- whether or not it was Obama or Hillary (National Review specifically asked her about either scenario) -- IF the GOP nominated McCain. When it actually happened, she didn't have the balls to follow through on that "promise"

Coulter is definitely the Michael Moore of the right, down to the fact that her cultist fan base will take whatever she says as gospel and accuse you of being a "hater filled with lies" if you debunk any of the "facts" she makes that don't come true or are proven false later on. It's no use trying to argue with her fan club. If Michael Moore told his followers that Obama is Bush's long lost brother they'd believe it -- ditto with Ann's. And in both cases, everytime they open their mouths they only hurt the very "cause" they're trying to promote. John Edwards, for example, got a surge in donations after Coulter felt the need to use an obsenity to get her point across.

Coulter just jumped into the fray in 2001 after Barbara Olsen died and tried to cash in on Olsen's fan base. However, Barbara has one thing that Ann will never have, and that's class.

I have some problems w/Justice Roberts’ vote on Kelo and one other decision whose name escapes me right now. Still, I agree that Ann is classless. This giggly, sophmoric shtick is getting old. She now amuses herself more than she does me. Ascerbic wit, cutting intelligence, a great legal mind and all aside, to me, with that incessant giggling punctuating every damned thought, she comes across as an annoying shrew.

Anybody who has heard Hirsi Ali make her points with dignity and quiet self-assurance, or Pfotenhauer or Malkin or any no. of others cannot help but despise the giggling load of smartaleckry that Ann puts out.

Coulter was in the fray long before 2001.

I first met her at the, "March For Justice," in 1998 and at the time she was writing her first book and had been seen regularly on the cable programs regarding the Lewinsky scandal and Clinton's impeachment.

I’m sure the Jindal thing is a joke. I once misinterpted one of her jokes, I don’t recall what it was.

Her Roberts article: http://www.anncoulter.com/cgi-local/article.cgi?article=67

“Of course it’s possible that Roberts will buck history — all known human history when it comes to the Supreme Court — and be another Scalia or Thomas. (And we’ll hear this news while attending a World Series game between the Cubs and, oh, say ... the Detroit Tigers.) “

The following season to my dismay the Tigers led in the AL Central all year, eventually they narrowly lost the division title and took the wild card but they won the ALCS and went to World Series (where they returned to form and embarrassed themselves).

She was wrong on Roberts too obviously.

I’m not a regular reader of her column, I’m sure it started before 2001, she was gonna run as a Libertarian against Chris Shays in 2000 to throw it to the rat, but they didn’t endorse her.

She’s a brilliant illiterater and entertaining writer.

I fully support calling Edwards a fag and those women harpies.

But there’s no defending crap like her vow to support the rat against McLame, there’s no call for that kind of nonsense, vote 3rd party or stay home, don’t aid marxists. I wonder who she voted for.

“she didn’t have the balls”

Every man who’s dated her is glad. :D

Also her love for Romney and Rudy and is silly and uninformed.

Comparing her to Moore is apt. Many rats don’t appreciate his “style”.

She is used as a rhetorical weapon against our side but then again they’ll demonize anyone.

She’s kinda in her own little world. Obviously she likes attention and rabble rousing, that’s why she’d tussle with O’Reilly. They probably made out afterwards.

I view Ann Coulter as a glamorous clown. She’s good for entertainment value, but has lost credibility as a serious thinker.
