The one good thing that could have come from this, was that Rihanna could have left his sorry ass and never turned back. That could have been a good lesson for other women.
I sometimes wonder if women in this situation reconcile to a certain extent because they think they may have driven the guy to do it. We all realize there is no excuse for this behavior. There is a code that almost every man has heard, and that is that you don’t hit a woman ever. Sadly, women have heard it too. And some of this taunting is leveled at guys because the woman thinks she can do absolutely anything, and the guy has to just take it. Well, they are right, but it takes a guy with a lot of self control to live up to ‘the code’.
