LOL, allow me to clarify... 5 cents per round is not a huge tax when considering large calibers, which can be almost a buck a round. A 5-10% tax is surprisingly low for the Dems. Personally, ANY ammo tax is offensive and moronic, as are the rules for ammo encoding (as if the bad guys won’t just use the newly-created black market to get “clean” ammo which can be easily and cheaply made by anyone with reloading equipment, etc).

um I beg to differ. 2000 rounds of .22 would be 100.00. I don't call that insignificant. 300 rounds .45 15.00. It's already expensive enough and I'm not giving them more money for it. Reload you own, tell them to go black off

Was just over at Bass Pro just lookin around and their price for Remington 22 subsonics was $38 for 500rds.
