He poisoned that locker room. They should have made him hit the road after his first suspension.

Plus he sucked on the field anyway.

He’s not the only to have poisoned the locker room. T.O has done quite a bit of that himself. Now if Jones can cut him lose and get something for him, maybe Dallas can do something positive next year. And until Jones admits he made some big mistakes, nothing good will happen in Big D.

Until the NFL clamps down HARD on behavior on and off the field, until they banish the “gangsta” lifestyle from the rosters, until it starts looking like a sport again, the NFL should be beneath norice for EVERYONE. Perhaps if professional football became as relevant in America as curling, the players, the league, the owners, the coaches and the players union would all be FORCED to take notice and do something. We keep giving them money for tickets. We keep buying the merchandise. We keep watching the telecasts and advertisers keep paying the networks for the air time. If ratings and revenue fell off and the next TV contract were only worth what you’d pay for a :30 in the post-game analysis of the Little League World Series, we’ll get some players who actually want to play the game instead of cashing paychecks that look like a lottery jackpot and showing off nothing but attitude off the field.
