The Cowboys picked up an excellent receiver, Roy Williams, during the season and he did absolutely nothing. Was it the play calling, his work rate? I find it puzzling because Williams at times was a force for the Pussycats...err, I mean the Lions.

The Dallas Police are cracking down on speeders heading into DFW, for the first offense, they give you two Cowboys tickets. If you get stopped a second time, they make you use them.

Q. What do you call 47 millionaires around a TV watching the Super Bowl?
A. The Dallas Cowboys!

Q. How do you keep the Dallas Cowboys out of your yard?
A. Put up a goal post.

Q. Where do you go in DFW in case of a tornado?
A. To Texas Stadium - they never have a touchdown there!

Q. What’s the difference between the Dallas Cowboys and a dollar bill?
A. You can still get four quarters out of a dollar bill.

Q. What do the Dallas Cowboys and possums have in common?
A. Both play dead at home and get killed on the road.

Dropping easy throws IS a problem. Plus TO has been a divider in 3 locker rooms now, can't all be the media's fault. As for his work ethic, quitting on routes and hustling hard one play and taking a break the next is not a good work ethic. Add to that intentionally drawing 15 yard penalties after touchdowns so he can show off is not exactly team-first either.

I'm a Cowboys fan but TO is mentally unstable and just cannot keep his mouth shut. He is a team unity killer - has been on every team he played on and will always be.

I should add I do not think TO is the main reason for the problems in offensive execution. I think the biggest problem is Jason Garrett, then the offensive line, then Romo.

The most common theme when discussing RW’s short time here by those close to the team were things like very poor work ethic on and off the field, didn’t even know most the plays and frequently ran the wrong routes. You can’t feel confident a a QB when you don’t know where your WR is going to be since so much depends on timing routes. He was also hampered by a nagging foot injury, which did slow his progress somewhat. (Why didn’t he spend this downtime learning the play book?) Same is often said of T.O. Hence, Romo leaned so heavily on old reliable, Jason Witten—the anti-RW/T.O. And looking first to Witten infused jealously among his other (neglected) WRs. Go Figure!

The Patsies may be in need of a Corner Back, but it is presumptuous to suggest that they will take just anyone.

Their system simply does not work that way.

The Corey Dillon and Randy Moss acquisitions were initially questionable. Your implication that the physically talented mentally (emotionally) deficient acquisitions negates the possibility that Patriot successes on the field are a result of good coaching as opposed to having great physical talent.

The Patriots won w/out Corey Dillon and w/out Randy Moss. They win because of the Program in place.

It seems from here that you have really not been paying a lot of attention to this organization during the last 8 years or so.

I don't want hear that Dallas is the home of Felons. You have the AFC North (Baltimore and Cincinnati) for that.

Detroit should pick up TO and Pacman. God knows they need the help.

So is Pacman free to join the Obama/Democrat administration now? His profile seems to fit.

They won’t take Jones. Too much baggage. They will take a flyer on some guys but only if they think they can make it work and the player is told outright that if he acts up then he’s gone.

Dallas set the standard for gun-toting, coke snorting felons. And they still made big money and get TV announcing gigs.

They have won because they cheated.

Name them.

I have no idea who has more felonies, Dallas or Baltimore. But Baltimore does have Jamal Lewis, who served 4 months for trying to sell cocaine.

I’m more into college ball and can tell you more about felons at Florida schools than I can about NFL, but I do know Jamal Lewis. I do think he’s kept his nose pretty clean since then. No pun intended.

Jamal has played the last 2 season for the Browns. But he was ours when he got in trouble, though the incident he got punished for happened when he was a college student.

This ‘your team has more felonies than mine’ game that Perdogg and I are playing has its roots, I think, going back to the Ravens dismantling of the Cowgirls a few weeks back.

I don’t think either the Ravens or Dallas sets the standard for the NFL, that would go to our friends in Cincy.

The NFL has been clamping down hard on off field behavior. Jones got suspended for an entire season for incidents that never resulted in charges being pressed. And if the shooting rumors have any meat to them he’ll be gone complete. Others got half season suspensions again for things that resulted in no criminal charges.
