Hello, and welcome to ATRW.
I remember the days when they all came home from school for the holidays.
When I’d be showering and getting ready for bed, they’d be getting ready to go out for the evening.
And i still remember watching them EAT with facination. They’d stop eating,,,, and I’d be dumb enough to think I’d filled them up.
But actually, they’d just stopped to rest their jaws.
Good Luck with the Entertaining. Hubby and I will be watching alone, as our youngin’s are out of the nest, and have bigger TV’s than we do.
So I will get by with a DOZEN boneless HyVee Chicken wings and a 6 pack of Bud Light.
There are better days ahead for you. Be strong.
Many thanks for the welcome, Iowa Granny.
Yes, I am getting the crock-pots out for my homemade chili & probably a chicken/wild rice soup along with some sandwiches.
I also usually make Parmesan won ton crisps and cheesy garlic bread!!
That way it is a buffet all day for them!
With all the ice on the roads, I don’t mind them staying put for this holiday!
