Yeah, just look at the economic prosperity that California enjoys as a result of their "bar". I can't wait to follow their example (no offense California Conservatives, I know it isn't your fault).

When you set the bar high and you hit the bar and it falls off, you are a failure.

“I’ll buy a clue for 20 Arnie!”

The “BAR” isn’t in the direction we need to go. It’s more like a bottom.

in truth, california has been an engine of other states’ growth.

legions of middle class people and businesses have fled to less taxed and regulated states.

If the present state of California is the direction the rest of the country is headed, God help us. Particularly in regards to energy policy California is hypocritical at best. The reason their pollution levels have gone down is that they have outsourced their electrical energy needs to surrounding states whose coal fired plants provide them with the energy they need. This causes a significant rise in electricity prices for Californians. How this is innovative or noteworthy is beyond me. Obama is living in a dream world. Think he's been hitting the “bar”. That being the one with the neon lights serving up doubles.

This is a great story about how effective California’s energy policy is. Maybe Zero could take a couple of minutes to read it before he shoots off the hip again.

Joe Biden walked into a bar...and woke up in the hospital with a concussion.

OBAMA: “Well, both are items that my environmental team, as well as my energy team, are going to be reviewing in the weeks to come, but I think it is very important just to look at the history when it comes to the regulation of emissions in California.

Consistently, California has hit the bar and then the rest of the country has followed. And rather than it being an impediment to economic growth, it has helped to become an engine of economic growth.”

California is how many BILLIONS of dollars in debt?
If a Republican would have said this the media would have treated them like they were dumber then dirt. Obama says it and wow what a great guy....

"Consistently, California has hit the bar and then the rest of the country has followed."

No, asshat, Kalifornia has consistently plumbed the depths and taken the rest of society with it. Western Civilization is suffering from the cultural bends thanks to you and your ilk.
