Well, De la Hoya got $15 Million at a time when millions of Americans have lost their jobs. Nothing really to complain about.

And he lost to Manny Pacquiao of the Philippines — considered today’s best pound for pound fighter in the ring.

Hey that guy Pacauiao is one class act. After the fight, he approached De La Hoya and told him — “You’re still my idol.”

Come to think of it, De La Hoya is a class act too — he replied : “No, you’re my idol now.”

Now, why can’t everyone be as sportsmanlike as this ?

Manny Pacquiao had gotten advise from Mike Tyson, beware de la Hoya’s right hand sudden killer hooks. I think even Pacquiao himself wasn’t sure he could beat up his idol.
