No, just one of the cadre of Pit-haters on FR.
There’s several here who always have to poke their noses into these threads and display their ignorance.

You beat me to it!
Funny how I've always considered myself a major dog person yet there are so many breeds I have never heard of.

What kind of response was that, pray tell?

Praise God this dog was found in time & brought back to full health.
As for the scum that did this to her ~ he might technically “get away” with it in this life, but that will be a different story when he faces God on judgment day.

I’d join your pinglist, but won’t have any part of any group that would have me for a member.
Seriously, had I known you had a list, I’d have asked to join a long time ago. Please sign me up.

Stories like this illustrate the worst that humans are capable of but also the best.
Too the trust that a dog can still give to humans after being terribly abused fills me
with wonder and awe. One of the most poignant pictures I've ever seen that brings
together the evil and the good of humans with the inherent trust and goodness of
dogs is this one of a rescued Vick dog...

When a sick helpless animal is displayed in several pics and a cold-strident opinion is relayed without any empathy for the creature... then that poster opens themselves up to cristicsm... good natured or not.

Every time I see one of these stories, it just breaks my heart. Having rescued several of these dogs in the past few years I can truthfully say that I’d like about 10 minutes alone with the abusers. I think animal cruelty should be a first degree felony. Also, the abusers should be forced to bear the cost of rehabilitating each and every one of these animals, but they should have no rights to ever own another dog, regardless of breed. How unfortunate that there doesn’t appear to be a national database to list the abusive owners and the dog fighters who have been caught thus far. I think their deeds and their pictures should be published for all to see.
