I bet he has. I bet he is shocked at their treatment of him. I still think he will govern as a ‘reach across the aisle’ guy. That is who he is.

It depends on where his attention is focused.

A win will tell him ... he was right and much of what has occurred will be forgotten..

I submit as support, Bush's continued reaching across the aisle to get along with his House and Senate.

Recently I have watched the PBS series (American Experience)on the former Presidents. In several of them ... there were comments IE ... Johnson was not doing his job in the Senate by’ not fighting his enemies’(republicans.

It was interesting that this is their mind set ... Republicans are our enemies. We keep trying to make friends of them. They are not our friends. Politically. Never.

Somehow we do not get this. Many concessions are made by republicans in an attempt to make consensus. They (democrats) do not give an inch. Ever notice that?
