"Homeowners are the innocent bystanders in a drive-by shooting by Wall Street and Washington," Republican presidential candidate John McCain said Wednesday.
Sen. John McCain says he will consider a second economic stimulus package if he is elected president.

How is a bailout NOT spreading the wealth around?
No..actually many of them operated with tremendous greed, just like so many others in this mess. There are many homeowners that should be renting, but they thought that a home was "due" to them.
“Homeowners are the innocent bystanders”
Whatever happened to personal responsibility? A lot of those folks chose to take on bigger mortgages than they could afford because somebody was stupid enough to lend the money to them. Just because they had an enabler doesn’t excuse their behavior.
I think he’s refering to responsible homeowners, who were also affected by this mess as their real estate value plummeted.
“Greed forced me to take that adjustable rate mortgage!”
And how is another stimulus package NOT spreading the wealth around?
We are so screwed!
I think the wealth is going to be spread around no matter who gets elected...the big difference is how and to whom it gets spread.
