Whatever happens, it’s unlikely South Park creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker will tone down their boundary-testing satire.
As Parker said in a 2006 interview: “You can only say ‘You can’t do that’ so many times to Matt and me before we’re gonna do it.”
I’ve found it humorous that because of Indiana Jones 4, there is a new saying out of hollywood, “Nuke The Fridge”.
Its a variation on “Jump the Shark”. “Nuke the Fridge” is to describe the destruction of a popular movie series/saga by a bad sequel.
Amusing, considering what else is considered “art” and broadcast on the public airwaves, or shown in theaters. Is there really anything left that is shocking?
Congrats, Hollywood. You’ve officially ended outrage. Unfortunately, you’ve been running out of ideas and are now forced to remake many classics.
I thought it was funny as hell.
When South Park goes away, Parker and Stone will never work again....
I enjoy South Park quite a bit. I didn’t see this episode, but I gotta say that their shock shtick is getting a bit old. I know those guys can write some intelligent comedy at time...perhaps the real shock would be to have them do more of that.
South Park... pouring mud into murky water...hard to drink but a lot of folks pour crap down their throats,, sooner later they throw up...well, it’s just a joke...
This was the most boring and unfunny episode ever. I swiched it off after the first half.
I just saw the movie and I felt raped too. Problem is that George Lucas wrote it. The guy should be barred from writing screen plays. He’s just horrible but he knows he can write crap and people will come see it. I always joked that he could do a star wars move with 90 mins of Yoda humping Jabba the huts tail and star wars fans will eat it up. It’s this type of brainwashing that has lead us to the celebration of a fake in Obama.
