Whatever happens, it’s unlikely South Park creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker will tone down their boundary-testing satire.
As Parker said in a 2006 interview: “You can only say ‘You can’t do that’ so many times to Matt and me before we’re gonna do it.”
I’ve found it humorous that because of Indiana Jones 4, there is a new saying out of hollywood, “Nuke The Fridge”.
Its a variation on “Jump the Shark”. “Nuke the Fridge” is to describe the destruction of a popular movie series/saga by a bad sequel.
Amusing, considering what else is considered “art” and broadcast on the public airwaves, or shown in theaters. Is there really anything left that is shocking?
Congrats, Hollywood. You’ve officially ended outrage. Unfortunately, you’ve been running out of ideas and are now forced to remake many classics.
Tell them they cannot, under any circumstances, ridicule Obama.

we should send them threatening letters...LOL
How many times do I have to say that they cannot ridicule moHAMmad(pigs be upon him)?
I thought it was funny as hell.
When South Park goes away, Parker and Stone will never work again....
They’ve made their money ;)
I doubt very much if they will caricature him anything like Bush. No cross eyes, no large ears big enough to portray him as a monkey No unflattering photos caught at the wrong moment just for humiliation.
The only lampooning of BO will be of His Godhood any other lampooning of facial or physical characteristics would be deemed raciest.

You hear that Trey and Matt???...you have been warned fellas!!
;)
The reality of this Southpark slam...is that after Indiana Jones I...it was practically impossible to carry it to the next level. The second episode was a dismal piece of trash for a script...with just a bunch of action scenes added. The third episode carried itself with a decent script but it simply wasn’t the character of the original. There are few movies which really excel in follow-on activity...which I might rank the Matrix series as the only one that met a better script and a better movie each time.
You've got to be kidding. The Wachowski's bloated incoherent Matrix sequels were so off target I could barely watch them. I'd put Neo right up there along side Indiana Jones as far as treatment from the producers go. The swish brothers seemed to have had a real good time destroying the Matrix story.
Only Godfather II and Empire Strikes Back stand out as decent movie sequels. All of the following movies in both of those series were terrible.
Terminator 2 was a good one...imo...i agree about The Matrix sequels.
The 2nd Superman, the Alien(s) sequel, Chris Nolan’s Dark Knight and Rocky 2 were successful financially and will stand the test of time. Blade 2 was more than OK as well.
The 2nd Resident Evil was dreadful, the 2nd Mummy was NOT necessary and the 2nd X Men was cornball cliche.
Yep...Aliens was a keeper.
Get the uncut versions of Aliens and Alien Resurrection on DVD (or Bittorrent): your choice. There were scenes there that I never knew existed until I watched it again.
I haven’t watched those in a long time....wasn’t Bill Paxton in the 2nd one?
> I havent watched those in a long time....wasnt Bill Paxton in the 2nd one?
You mean Hudson: “Game over man...game over!” (?)
Yeah, he was in it. :) More quotes from Bill (Hudson) Paxton:
****
Ripley: They cut the power.
Hudson: What do you mean, “*They* cut the power”? How could they cut the power, man? They’re animals!
*
Hudson: Hey, maybe you haven’t been keeping up on current events, but we just got our asses kicked, pal!
*
Bishop: I’m afraid I have some bad news.
Hudson: Well that’s a switch.
*
Ripley: How long after we’re declared overdue can we expect a rescue?
Hicks: [pause] Seventeen days.
Hudson: Seventeen *days?* Hey man, I don’t wanna rain on your parade, but we’re not gonna last seventeen *hours!* Those things are gonna come in here just like they did before. And they’re gonna come in here...
Ripley: Hudson!
Hudson: ...and they’re gonna come in here AND THEY’RE GONNA GET US!
Ripley: *Hudson!* This little girl survived longer than that with no weapons and no training.
[to Newt]
Ripley: Right?
[Newt apes a salute]
Hudson: Why don’t you put her in charge?
