The entire fight was over in less than 4 seconds, and the longest distance between them was less than 5 feet.

Some people refer to the "rule of threes" in gun fighting. Most fights occur at less than three yards, less than three seconds, and three rounds are fired.

It's catchy, but I wouldn't bet my life on it. I practice at distances ranging from 20 feet to 40 feet. I figure if I can hit a target at 40 feet, I ought to be able to hit one at 6 feet.

As I mentioned, this one is pretty interesting in that both of them were armed with essentially the same revolver. Both were 7 shot .357 S&W models. To be perfectly accurate, Good Guy had a Taurus clone, and Bad Guy had the Smith.

Both weapons were empty afterwards.

The last round fired was by Bad Guy who discharged his pistol into his own head.

At least he was courteous enough to save the taxpayers a bunch of money saving, trying, and incarcerating his worthless ass.
