"It was the ultimate expression of road rage. A furious woman driver died after ramming another vehicle and spinning her wheels so fast that her own car burst into flames.Serena Sutton-Smith, 54, burnt to death after refusing to get out of her Vauxhall Nova as she sat with her foot flat on the accelerator.
She spun the wheels so fast that her tyres disintegrated and the metal rims sent a shower of sparks into the engine, igniting the brake fluid and setting the car on fire. Appalled onlookers urged her to get out of the car as the flames licked around her but she told them to F*** off, an inquest in Gloucester was told.

Lawsuit coming...
... but maybe not since it was not in the US.
To: justkate
From the article, she was obviously nuts. Luckily, she only took herself out in her lunacy.

I’ll go out on a limb here and suggest that the lady may have had some anger issues?
To: justkate
She was an English[wo]man, middle-aged, with some serious anger management issues. Maybe she forgot to take her flaxseed oil that day.

Ill go out on a limb here and suggest that the lady may have had some anger issues? I suppose she was prone to hot-tempered outbursts. Her ire was easily inflamed.

Ha ha! That’s so funny! Good one! Nothing as hilarious as a good DIAF, especially of a middle-aged woman with “anger issues.”
Think her husband is raising a pint tonight?

Think her husband is raising a pint tonight? He's probably breaking out the 18 year old single malt.
