I think it would violate protocol, but suggesting it makes a solid point.

Well, it would depend on when and where and mostly WHO
There are some people Obama won't talk to.
There are some NETWORKS that Obama won't talk to.
To wit:

Monday, September 01, 2008

"To Whom Would You Talk"?

Of course, when Fox reporters ARE the Enemy, your perspecitve changes.

Love to see it. She’ll wipe the floor with his pansy ass.

She’s a vice presidential candidate and I’m not sure it’s a great idea. It would make McCain seem week.

Personally I think it would be great to watch in any case.

Forget it. Palin is assigned to pawn Biden and leave it at that. Everyone is waiting for the debates so America can finally see how much of a neophyte Obama really is.

He clearly would rather run against her than McCain.

It would be even funnier to see her kick his butt at a game of hoops!

Gingrich just advocated this.

(the joke was lets hope McCain is not a drag on the ticket)

I bet Palin has coat tails.

Not a great idea because Sarah isn’t the best debator. That’s actually a plus with Biden who will go into bulldog mode and make himself look like an ogre, leaving her looking even better. Obama won’t get nasty the way Biden will.

I fully agree, and I think she should throw down the gauntlet in her acceptance speech at the convention;

Senator Obama has suggested that I am unqualified to serve as vice president. If, in fact, Senator Obama has any real qualms about my readiness to ably fulfill all the duties with which a vice president may be expected to be confronted, then I challenge him before all America to a debate at a time and place of his choosing on the subject of qualifications and experience. Not a debate in place of his debate with Senator McCain or in place of my debate with Senator Biden, but a unique debate to settle an important issue.

A thorough comparison of our political credentials in the open air of a nationally televised exchange should prove not only interesting and informative, and I long to have the pleasure of just such an opportunity to let the people themselves decide — without surrogates and without teleprompters or slick advertisements — who is best qualified to serve in the offices for which he and I are running.

And those of you in the media who think I am not up to the job, why don’t you join me in asking Senator Obama to meet me face to face, so that a free and fair discussion can take place and all pertinent questions about qualifications and experience can be asked and answered once and for all? I think that’s only fair and appropriately democratic. Let the people decide, Senator Obama!

Note to Sarah: You have my permission to use the above lines without attribution.

Note to Senator Biden: I’d love for you to use it — as is!

No need to. Palin's very presence on the ticket already won the debate.

This is easy... debate #2... McCain claims a hoarse voice... sends in Palin right after the introductory 90 seconds.

I went to Office Depot today...They had a sale on DVDs...You know stuff that no one wants...2 for 1? In this discount bin was John McCain’s life story.. Faith of My Father....

I watched this and thought...My God, we do not know this man. We have no clue...yet we all need to learn from him.

Go to Office Deport tomorrow and buy the DVD... 9 dollars for two...Watch it and pass it on....

I’m sick to death at the small people still on this forum who continue to bad mouth McCain...I’ve come around... He’s a great American and we should be all proud that he is our candidate...

I have 60 days to promote this man...I’m tired of hearing the negatives from the bloggers here....You know who they are...

Let’s work to get our ticket elected...

Newt did not say Palin should challenge Obama to a debate.
Please get your facts right, this kind of comment gets all spread around.

Newt said he would like to see a debate between Palin and Obama. It was a wishful thinking comment because VP candidates do not debate the Pres candidates.
