worry that Pawlenty doesn’t really seem credible to step into the big chair if needed

I’ve heard speculation that it is Pawlenty.

Who is Pawlenty?

Haven’t seen him on air, or anywhere battling the UnAmerican Dims and their media.

All i know is Mitt was in California raising money, said he wasn’t spending the night at his house (in CA) because the floors are being redone. guys with ear pieces followed him to the air port (sounds hokey to me),and supposedly SS did a sweep of his sister’s house in Michigan which sounds hokey to me also.

It makes the most sense, plus he’s an executive. I agree he’s rather “boring,” but it would still be a better pick than Romney who comes across as out of touch and as a goof.

I have been saying Pawlenty for months and months and I’m sticking with it. He won’t dazzle but he won’t do any harm.

If the InTrade speculators believe this rumor has merit, this Pawlenty Intrade graph will show an uptick.

Fixed it for you. Other than the most trusted of McCain's inner circle, I don't think anyone knows.

Pawlenty is a conservative, but Pawlenty is so BORING to listen to. How is VP Pawlenty supposed to succeed in his only VP debate with Biden’s style of speaking? Yawn. Besides, Minnesota may still vote in the majority for Obama, even with the RNC in St. Paul and even after putting Pawlenty on the Presidential ticket.

Just in case you were all wondering, I cancelled all of my media interviews today also.

I still say that Condi Rice would solidify a win in November. The added bonus would be that if Mac is a one term prez, then a conservative woman would be the president before a liberal black man.

What does Pawlenty bring? Nothing. He’s Dan Quayle redux.

Tell it like it T-I-IZZZ BUMP!

I've only heard about Pawlenty on FR or on Hugh Hewitt. I've never come across him on TV. If he is not already well known, or a quick-witted, fast-on-his-feet conservative (and I gather he is none of those), he seems to me to be potential Dan Quayle.

A few election cycles ago I thought that Marc Racicot was the next super star in the Republican stable. He seemed to have it all going the right way and then he just fell off the the edge of the world. I remember that there was even some talk at the time about him possibly replacing Cheney.

Can't figure what happened but he must have one hell of a big skeleton banging around his closet somewhere.

*Mitt was in California raising money, said he wasn’t spending the night at his house (in CA)*

So Mitt is around 13 miles north from me here in San Diego.
His home is in the La Jolla area

I don't know. There's nothing "On the Issues".

Tim Pawlenty on Abortion

No issue stance yet recorded by OnTheIssues.org.
