Fox has Griff whats-his-name who was roughed up yesterday by the thugs in Denver. They’re having to bleep every few seconds. Whoa! He was defended by Cindy Sheehan. But at any rate, he made the point that most people in Recreate ‘68 weren’t even born in ‘78, let alone ‘68. They wouldn’t take advantage of face time on Fox but just complained about how “unfair” things were.
I’m glad you enjoyed your trip yesterday. It is good to rest and re-create on a regular basis.
Re: Fay. Yesterday was a relatively calm day with little rain. But the rain picked up last night and things are very soggy right now. Rain is predicted through Wednesday or even Thursday. But Saturday is supposed to be nice and dry. WAR EAGLE!

I can’t even watch FNC. I will depend on my brothers and sisters at ATRW to keep me informed along with the conservative radio talk shows.

There is going to have to be one gigantic fumigation of Denver starting next weekend when hopefully most of the trash will have finally evacuated themselves from the area. I live 22 miles from ground zero. For this week, I wish it was 2200 miles.
Ya know what? Your excellent reference to ground zero has a double meaning. First, the obvious one, and secondly, the ZERO will be descending at ground zero.
I'll stick with talk radio, sit-coms, HGTV, old movies,food network and cleaning the kitty litter boxes.
It's getting to the point, even prior the convention, where I am sick of 24 hour news...same old..same old. I'm all for breaking news, but after 23 hours..is it really breaking news?
I'm listening online to one of the local Denver FM jock radio shows and there are apparently some billboards in Denver that say Dr. Martin Luther King was a Republican. They have on their show on the phone right now one Francis Rice, Esq. ret. military, who is the chairwoman of National Black Republican Association and she is saying te the Zero is the OPPOSITE of Dr. King. She is exposing zeros infanticide, Wright, Ayers, Resco, and this is on a very non-political FM radio station. Their organization put up 50 billboards around Denver. LOL!

Good morning everybody. The dems are arriving at the campground, mostly in tents and with license plates from California, Nevada, S. Carolina etc. We spoke with one lady yesterday at breakfast who is here for the convention about general things, not political. At the end of the meal she exclaimed (in a nice tone) “Vote Obama!” We told her we were at the opposite end of the political spectrum and she accepted that with a remark that in this area (CO) many people probably were.
When this ad hits the airways Thee one will squeal like a stuck pig and his minions will wail and whine telling the world how spiteful and mean the Republicans are.
