I brought my wife to SLC in ‘02- she’s not really a sports fan...as we were leaving, the night after being in the building and watching Sarah Hughes win the gold in figure skating my wife said, “everyone should experience the Olympics once in their lives”...she’s right...I brought my mom to Atlanta for the last ten days of the games in ‘96 and she still glows about it....
my wife is now hell bent on the two of us and my now five year old daughter getting to Vancouver in ‘10...
I’ve always wanted to go to London and depending on what is going on in my life then, I might try to swing going in 2012. It always looks like such a great time.
I don’t really want them in Chicago for 2016, but if they do I will probably volunteer in what ever way I can.
