He's always been a huge supporter of the troops. He was invited to W's inaugural ball but the invitation was later withdrawn because a bunch sissies got their panties in a knot over some of his lyrics and protested it.
His latest: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2lK7a4MH8B0 (anybody who grew up "up north" can identify)

Kid Rock has always been patriotic, and I’ve always liked that about him. He’s raunchy at times, but some of his more serious stuff is quite good. I think he’s actually got talent when he applies himself.

He does nothing for me. He’s a crumb-bum, cruddy, and extremely raunchy. Like most of what passes for “stars”, he’s talentless as well. But it’s nice he’s patriotic.

Kid Rock has a lot going for him if he just doesn't blow it.
I see similarities to Terrible Ted, attitude wise that is.

even if you hate his guts you should watch the video to see what might help bring votes in November.
it's 2 1/2 minutes of your your life you'll never get back but you'll see what a large section of the voting block does like.

Great song. Lots of nostalgia in those lyrics and melodies.

kid rock and joan jett are the bob hope of our times. while both are a little edgy, or perhaps raunchy, both seem to love this country. that, sadly, seems to be a rarity these days.
