TAMPA, FLA. - Chip Witte doesn't consider himself a Rebel. He doesn't hang Dixie battle flags in his living room, nor does he wear one on the back of his leather jacket.
Yet when the Tampa motorcycle mechanic saw the world's largest Confederate battle flag unfurl above the intersection of I-75 and I-4 in June, he felt a jolt of solidarity with the lost cause and lost rights that he says the battle flag represents. "I think it's great that they're allowed to fly it," says Mr. Witte. [Editor's note: The original version misidentified the highway intersection.]

Ah, the pecksniffy impostor returns.
These issues have been proved against you repeatedly over the last six years by posters equipped with access to all the necessary documentary support and who enjoy the full possession of every faculty of logic and reason.
You refuse to take a point, you repeat disproven arguments de novo, particularly to newbies while the adults aren't around, you cite the same two or three Supreme Court opinions written by Lincoln appointees/political hacks, and you deport yourself shabbily in all respects.
I mean shabbily in this way: that you don't play fair, you're an ideological snore with a flair for pulling wings off flies, that you have a tic about the South and won't admit it -- you hate them -- and you are obsessed with walking your dog every time one of these threads comes up.
You lie, you cheat, you gloat over dead people. In short, you're not nice people and cannot, therefore, hold a civil conversation. You only pretend civility; in the more consequential aspects of civility, you have no civil intentions at all.
Cowboyway, don't feed the energy creature. Don't respond to his baiting and trolling. He's an ideologue, a bigot, and a snore. Ignore him.
So you have. Welcome back. It's been a while.

Well, no. These questions have been raised time and again only to be ignored or answered with the standard load of Southron bullshit. The claim was made that the south rebelled because the federal government was "getting too big." Such a lame excuse begs the question how? In what way? Surely even a pecksniffy such as yourself should be able to answer that?

Deport myself shabbily? Who started this with name-calling.
I refer to Supreme Court decisions because the Supreme Court is the body charged with ruling on the constitutionality or unconstitutionality of a particular action. All you offer in return are your own opinions.

When the same old tired Sourthon song-and-dance is being offered, then the same answers apply.
In short, you're not nice people and cannot, therefore, hold a civil conversation.
Pot? Kettle. Kettle? Pot.
But that particular august body, the disHonest Abe stacked SC, deciding a case against the South only months following the cessation of hostilities is akin to a Cuban presidential election; the participants are all 'party' men and the outcome is pre-determined.
But, knowing your preference for an oppressive centralized authoritarian gubmint, it's no surprise that you applaud that entire sordid era.
