The value of concealed carry is that it evens the odds without ever having to "blast" someone else. If the father had pulled out a weapon, the thugs would have run.
Sure it feels good to sit here on the board and talk about how we all would have blasted them. It’s not reality though.
I don't know about your reality, but mine has a .38 in it wherever I go. Can't carry -- don't go. it is just that simple.
