ET confirms that Josh Brolin and Jeffrey Wright, stars of Oliver Stone's forthcoming President Bush biopic 'W.', were arrested Saturday morning in Shreveport, LA. The actors and three other crew members were busted outside Stray Cats bar when they allegedly interfered with the arrest of a fellow 'W' staffer, who was facing cuffs for public intoxication and resisting detainment.
The trouble began when crew member Eric Felland was allegedly asked to leave the bar and refused. An officer tried to physically remove him, but Brolin, Wright and their 'W' colleagues allegedly attempted to pull Felland away from the authorities.
Brolin was arrested for interfering with the police and charged with a misdemeanor. He and his fellow crew-mates were released on bond, but they're expected back in court at a later date.
In 'W.,' Brolin steps into the shoes of our commander in chief, while Wright plays Colin Powell.
Call me if he needs a probation officer.

Let’s hope the DA goes for the death penalty: A slap on the wrist.
A case of art imitating life.
Someone whom I know was involved with the crew that was shooting “No Country” in Marfa. There were plenty of drunks there, too. I wonder how these people can remember their lines the next day. I guess that does take talent.
