Help! I was listening to a news program a couple of months ago and I heard a story about some new web services that allow entrepreneurs to test market new products and services.
The idea is that subscribers can propose new virtual products prior to major investment. Interested buyers can then register their desire to purchase/participate by submitting a refundable deposit. The product would then be produced if interest/money reached a minimum threshold.
I have googled my rear off, but can't find what I'm looking for. Does anybody know the general term for this marketing concept, or know of any websites? Thanks -ORH
Caveat.
Call Billy Mays or Popeye Vince (ScamWow).
There are, I believe, legitimate expressions of this idea
is this a vanity?
Virtual Marketing.
Vapor-ware.
Smoke and Mirrors. :)
Thanks!
