TV will be turned to a different channel this weekend.
Russert lied at the Libby trial and was willing to see Libby go to prison to avoid personal embarrassment.
Well to be fair it wasn’t ALL day yesterday because it wasn’t until early afternoon MST (late afternoon EDT) that we even found out he died. And his show is Sunday so it’s logical they’ll do something then.
But other than that, it’s a TV network, you really didn’t expect them to have sane priorities did you?
I think that Big Russ might still be around.

Give PMSNBC a break. After all, they are covering their own funeral.
I don’t do TV but I tuned in to Hewitt in the last hr. and it was all Russert, he said he was doing all 3 hrs. in tribute to him. Had to tune out.

On the issue of looks, maybe Chris will carry the tourch for “normal” people.
This weekend? The only time my TV is tuned to any NBC product is an occasional Sunday night when the Patriots are playing.Other than that,they lost me when Belushi and Ackroyd left Saturday Night Live.
I’d rather have ‘em worshipping Russert than worshipping Obama, which is what they will return to doing after the weekend.
