Ugh. Living here is great, but I fear that is going to be a very rough week. My hope is the lawsuits don’t completely bankrupt Denver and the surrounding towns trying to support this sure-fire-disaster.
Portland ended up “settling” the suit over this particular demonstration for a measly $300K. “Police riot” and all that. Expect at least 10 times that, in Denver.

You should drive a couple hours west and vacation in Frisco or Breckenridge for the week. Its like when they talk about the Super Bowl being played here in the new Cowboy stadium. All I can think about is where I will be vacationing during that week. Screw sticking around for even worst traffic and even more crowded restaurants.
