Lauren Hutton is a classy woman who tells it the way it is.

attacked Sex And The City’s portrayal of promiscuous women and blamed “gay writers” for creating the stereotype that single women are “sluts”.
This line is so funny, nothing else need be added....

Sex and the City portrays women as 'sluts' - Lauren HuttonWell, doesn't that accurately describe the women in "Sex and the City"?
To: donna
Your homepage talks about moral values. I think that Sex and the City teaches the absolute opposite.
I also do not put much weight on what “movie stars” say or do. Their opinion is no more important than your or mine....but they think it is....

What do you expect, Lauren? It’s written by gay men.

Unfortunately, that’s one of the things “feminism” was about after the sexual revolution of the 60s. Women figured men were behaving badly and having a good time, so they figured they had a right to do the same thing.
Rather similar to “defining deviancy down.”

What does anyone expect when queers are writing scripts? Does anyone think that the Will and Grace show actually provides an accurate portrayal of a real life homosexual? I wonder who wrote queer eye for the straight guy? What normal man would have a group of queers decorate his house? Sheesh!

Actually, I always enjoyed the series when it ran on HBO, and look forward to seeing the movie with my wife, who is a big fan.
I usually hate chick flicks (with some notable exceptions). I don’t know whether this movie will be any good, but the show was always witty, intelligent, occasionally touching and generally entertaining, IMHO.
Anyone who disagrees with me is a scum-sucking commie bastard. (just kidding, I know that a lot of scum-sucking commie bastards, especially female ones, really liked the show too.)

With these words I will lose the franchise on this but all my friends and family know that I always referred to that show as:
“SLUTS IN THE CITY”

Good for Lauren Hutton! The show should be called “Skanks in the City.” I do feel sorry for Sara Jessica Parker, though I want to give her a few lumps of sugar and a new Horse blanket.
