Dolly Parton is threatening to sue "The Howard Stern Show" for manipulating recordings from one of her audio books last week into seemingly racist and sexually graphic sound bites.
The country performer released a statement Wednesday saying editing or trickery made it appear she was commenting on topics and celebrities including Kenny Rogers, Linda Ronstadt, Burt Reynolds and Johnny Carson in a segment that aired May 6.

Dolly Parton has to be one of the nicest persons in the entertainment industry and has always presented herself as a real lady...a Tennessee lady I might add...and we all know what a POS Stern is.

thank you! That was a great scene and it sounds like something she’d do.
Dolly takes over a stage just by being herself. Everytime she’s asked to do a duet with someone, it becomes HER stage. Even Norah Jones became part of the background when Dolly was her guest.
Few people can match Dolly’s presence.
