I’ve seen it posted several times on FR that, “the only thing that really matters for this election is Iraq.” So all that stuff is trivial, as real American patriots do not care what happens in America, so long as other countries are supported. Something that I like about conservativism is that it realistically accepts the world as deeply flawed. Purity does not exist in politics and never will. If you aim for ideological purity and mythologize the past, you will always find the present to be unacceptable.

If you are going to continue posting your suspect list of grievances with McCain, the least you could do is get rid of #1 on the list. The “Gang of Fourteen” was a scheme of sheer political genius and its inclusion on that list you constantly post (to the point of being obnoxious) makes you look like a moron.
