Something that I like about conservativism is that it realistically accepts the world as deeply flawed. Purity does not exist in politics and never will. If you aim for ideological purity and mythologize the past, you will always find the present to be unacceptable.

No one is asking for purity, just a solid, trustworthy conservative. We are conservatives because we don’t vote for or support monetarily or otherwise anything or anyone that we consider to be liberal.
