Well, you are doing the right thing with the glucosamine but, please don’t wait too long to have the surgery if your doctor says it is necessary. It is amazing how much damage you can do to other body parts when you start favoring “a bad leg, etc”. I’ll keep you in my prayers.

What does your Dr say about your x-rays? While you’re walking around, you’re damaging both the head of your femur and the socket it works in. The longer you wait, the more damage you do to that area, the same goes for your knees. Take care sweet lysie, ask your Dr some questions about the damage in your hip and socket and knees and ask him to explain your x-rays and scans. The longer you wait the longer it will take to correct any damage. I know, I’ve been there. Your hip operation will not be as bad as a knee, in fact, with your personality and determination, the worst will be the first night’s walk. At least it was for me.
