We’re just grateful for every Mother’s Day where it doesn’t snow, like it did one year.

Thankfully it wasn’t raining when we went to Church this morning, it only started raining when I was leaving work, and now it is raining to beat the band. I know we need rain, but I do not need the entire planting season’s rain in less than a week.......I had planned on having my first planting of beans and corn in on Thursday. If it doesn’t quit raining soon I may have to consider planting rice :)
All the kids and “young adults” did all the prayers and readings at Church this morning, and the younger ones all were given an opportunity to say something about their mom or grandmom. There was quite a chuckle when my smarty pants commented about how her mom lets her ride her bicycle in the rain.......
