I am not sure when the ratings for 2007 were added to the site, but it had to be fairly recently.
Ratings of note:
McCain: 80 (This is up from his 65 in 2006, and close to his lifetime rating of 82.)
Kyl: 100
Feinstein: 0 (Check out California's reps - - in that state, with few exceptions, a House representative is basically either a zero rat or a one-hundred Republican. It's the same with Colorado. Weird...)
Shays (R): 20
Castle (R): 20
Isakson: 96 (This Georgia senator has been a pleasant surprise.)
Durbin: 0
Obama: 7
Jindal: 88 (2007 was Jindal's last year as a House rep.)
Snowe: 28
Collins: 36
Kennedy: 0
Kerry: 4
Coleman: 64
Hagel: 79
Reid: 0
Clinton: 0
Dole: 92
Voinovich: 48 (Pathetic - - way down even from his low lifetime rating of 71.)
Inhofe: 100
Coburn: 100
Smith (Oregon): 48 (Again, pathetic, and way down from a low lifetime rating of 72.)
Specter: 40
Lindsey Graham: 88 (Not too bad...)
DeMint: 100
Warner: 60
Barrasso: 100

It is quite instructive to peruse the ratings for the full state delegations. I noted the Senators with ratings of 100 but there were a lot of Republican Senators in the 90s range, too. Also, compare Rhode Island with Wyoming - - hilarious. Two different planets.

McCain: 80 (This is up from his 65 in 2006, and close to his lifetime rating of 82.)
Once again, the devil is in the details:
Out of around 250 +- Republican Congressman, McCain was at #171 and he only managed that by missing 15 of the 25 votes that the ACU rated.
McCain missed voting on two abortion bills, including a vote on the "Mexico City" policy, Hate Crime legislation (Lefty Inspired), Left wing expansion of Health Care, Biofuels, and Coastal drilling.
Not much of an 80% record if you ask me.

I sincerely doubt he would have had an 80% if he had voted his philosophies on the economic, oil drilling, and bio-fuels legislation votes.

Whatever.
80 stinks no matter how you cut it.

I also find it quite disturbing that he missed over half of these IMPORTANT votes, I know he was campaigning, but that even makes it worse. He has a responsibility to his constituents in AZ, to his party, and to his country to be present to vote against the kind of crap the Dems put into play with these types of bills.

Hell of a lot better than “republicans” Snow, Collins, Castle and Shays. Even Chaffee scored better. Smith finally jumped into RINO territory after hanging on the edge for years. Voinovich is no surprise either.

None of his votes would have made a difference.

Not a big deal, especially since those bills were all foregone conclusions. If McCain’s vote was a make-or-break vote, he would have been there, if mainly just for the headlines.

Not to me on two levels:
1. McCainiacs will point to the false 80% level and say "See he isn't that bad".
2. It is a matter of being responsible with privelege of representing people in Congress. It shows a lack of character on his part.

Just for poops and giggles I perused your postings. It seems that you do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING here except beat up on McCain relentlessly. That’s all you do and it’s to the point of being obnoxious. Now, I personally don’t like McCain and have smacked McCain pretty hard myself. But frankly, you have a smell to you that I don’t like. You smell like a rat to me.
It’s one thing for conservatives to beat up McCain but it’s entirely another thing for rats to sneak on board.

Well thanks for your opinion, however, I have voted every election since 78' when I turned 18 for the GOP.
And you are right, I have been pointing out the failures of John McCain unrelentlessly mostly because I know he will destroy the party I have fought so hard for.
He will do that by granting Amnesty first which will dump millions of extra Democrat voters into our electorate system and then he will compound that by implementing the Carbon Cap-and-Trade system, among other left wing agenda items that will finally drive the conservatives wholesale from the party.
But hey, go ahead, you stick your head in the sand and call me a rat because I simply won't shut up and take it like so many McCainiacs want us conservatives to do.
This is what is so sad about my party right now. If you stick to your guns to try and point out an obvious danger you are castigated and labeled in an attempt to shut you up.

If you really want a hoot check out #23 on THE LIST. To prove McCain is pro-abortion he cites
This blog by this guy. The guy sees eight-week-old fetuses in the satellite photos of Katrina and blames Katrina on God's Wrath for our sins.
And what was the vote that made McCain pro-abortion and pro-fornication (I haven't seen that one in a while)? It was an HHS appropriation bill that had the standard abortion exclusion but exemptions for rape, incest, and life of the mother. The bill passed the Senate 94 to 3.
McCain is straight line pro-life and it is so far a stretch that it is beyond nutso and into dementia. Anyone who ties Katrina to abortion and sees fetuses in the storm-whirl is insane. And this is the source.
94 members of the Senate are pro-fornication. I'll have to think about that one for a while.

Check out SoConPubbie's
posting history. He/she/it is a one-person crusade against John McCain. Post after post after post of beating up McCain. On the surface it appears to be little more than a sick obsession, but I suspect
there is more at play here. I mean, take a break and go after that scumbag Obama once in awhile. Check out the astronomy "picture of the day". Visit the Freeper Canteen. Whatever. Sheesh...

Here's the MN delegation's ratings. Ramstad sucks and Coleman is really going to pot. Michelle and John Kline are awesome (Kline would make one hell of a Presidential candidate someday). Collin Peterson has a higher ranking than some Repubs on the list.
