In his first comments since a tabloid linked him to extramarital affairs last week, Roger Clemens on Sunday acknowledged making "mistakes" in his personal life. For those mistakes, he apologized to his family and the public, but the seven-time Cy Young Award winner remained steadfast in his denials that he has used steroids or human growth hormone.
"HE" must not be through testing you Roger!
Poor, Poor Roger!
This guy has either received simply the worst legal advice imaginable, or he has completely ignored the competent legal advice he was given.
This is no Internet gossip, but my own account after watching the Longhorns win their Championship Game.
That single event, so many years ago, molded my low opinion of the 7-Time Cy Young winner.
He should not have denied the steroid use. He should have said “none of your business”.
He also should not have slept with a 15 year old while married.
He has gone Mike Tyson crazy.
Is Roger Clemens related to Samuel Clemens? If so, he may have a talent for telling tall tales.
She is claiming otherwise.
The funny thing is that if you look at pictures of his wife and of his girlfriend taken when they were each in their mid-20s prime, they could be sisters.
Wow — I never knew Bill Clinton was a seven-time Cy Young Award winner.
That molded your opinion of Clemens? A heat-of-the-moment comment by a stupid college kid during an athletic event (where sailor-like language isn’t uncommon)? Good grief.
Ever say anything stupid when you were in college?

I just KNEW that dang jumping frog was on 'roids!
How about I just judge him now as a CHEATER both in his profession and his marriage?
>> How about I just judge him now as a CHEATER both in his profession and his marriage?
Well that certainly seems like a more suitable criteria for judgment than one lip-read offensive comment by a college ballplayer 25-years ago.

And they both deny, deny, deny

______
I’m going with option 2.
I think his ego is as big as his arm was.
How far does the ‘I had sex with everything that moved, even after I was married, but I would never have done anything to damage the integrity of the game of baseball’ argument go?
15 was OLDE decades ago

Poor Roger....
At least he can count what's left of his money after Debbie gets done with him, his lawyers get done with him and when the justice dept gets done with him.
Mistakes???
“Yeah I kept forgetting that my wife kept her steroids in the Tylenol bottle. And that 15 yearold kootchie? I was sleep walking. I’d be snoozing away and next thing you know, I’m knee-deep and double-clutchin’ with some chick who’s calling me Santa”
