DETROIT- Kwame Kilpatrick is adding "talk show host" to his mayoral duties.
The Detroit mayor on Monday taped the first installment of his new cable public access television show.
WWJ-AM and WXYZ-TV report Kilpatrick's first two guests were city Police Chief Ella Bully-Cummings and City Council President Pro Tem Monica Conyers.
Kilpatrick says he liked doing the show. He'll have a two-minute commentary at the end of each new show.
"Real Talk with Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick" debuts on Comcast Channel 10 on Monday, May 5. The show repeats on Wednesday and Friday.

Detroit is a cesspool. Would the last human being leaving that area turn out the lights on the scum? Or have they already left?
And they will continue to hemorrhage citizens as long as people like Kwame Kilpatrick are considered to be equal to the task of turning these dying metropolises around.
Even the Governor, Jennifer Granholm (D) is running for cover. Unfortunately for the people of the state of Michigan, she can only get as far as the hospital for some emergency surgery or some other health-related issue. Soon enough though, she’ll be on her way to Washington D.C. as has been her plan all along. Thanks for all the “Cool Cities”, Miss Jenny!

Well, I have black friends, my sister is married to a black gentleman, they have kids, and many people in the black community would take great and justified offense at a comment like that. But I am sure you meant nothing by it right?
