Perfect Village must have gotten a lot more rain than we did. We didn't get enough for me to see if the repairs I made to the basement wall held. We had to have a new water line installed several years ago, and a leak developed where the plumbers didn't patch the wall correctly. I used 3 tablespoons out of a 2.5 pound box of hydraulic cement, so we have plenty if’n you ever need any. The scariest part was chipping the old cement away from the water line with a hammer and chisel. Luckily, I didn't pierce the water line :-)

I got 3.7, 1.6, and the last was 1.5 inches of rain. TheNayber isn’t pumping water anymore so I guess he’s okay.
So is that cement good for patching cracks in concrete slabs? I’ve got a couple of cracks showing up in the garage area where there’s no crawlspace.
