I moved out at 18 too. I renewed my license last year even though my car was long gone by then.
Now that’s a good project. Cross ventilation is a good friend on days like this.
The ‘band’ is warming up at the fish place. Oh, LSA told me that was a ‘song’ they were playing. Coulda fooled me. Actually one in three isn’t too bad.
Well, back to it.
Sometimes it takes a couple years for them to bloom well. We had a really good seed catch this past year and it shows now. We’ve got a lot of them, tall ones too.
May take you up on that for a bit...it *is* quite toasty over here.
I bet. You need to get yourself some box fans :~)
I’ll go cover the fish pond so you know who stays out of trouble. ;~)
Yep, that's the Vortex flash hider from Smith Enterprises. Brownells sells a lot of SEI products, including most flash hiders. But after reading how much of the SEI product line is marked "limited or no civilian sales" due to all the government M14 work they are doing, I decided to buy the flash hider direct from them with a credit card. They have no online ordering, so you have to phone them.
Those people are doing God's work through the M14, and I figured they earned my full retail price. Brownells sells a lot of SEI stuff (they are the sole distributor for some of their products), but there is just so much more at their site to drool over.
Ha! OK. ;-)
The first year the bunnies pruned it pretty hard so I moved it to the planterbox...where it didn’t get enough sun or water. So now it’s on the north side of thesunroom inside the bunny fence.
I cried.
First movie this year that made me tear up, and it was animated ... though, when it's just 'bots in view, you don't remember that it's animated.
We're thinking of going to see Ironman next weekend. It opens on July 4th at the beer and burger theater.
Interestingly enough, our free, alternative weekly newspaper, The Pitch, pretty much gave it a rave review, ending with “...you’ll adore it because of a cuddly, lonesome little robot who breaks your bleeping heart.” High praise indeed!
I don’t want to go see it if WALL-E gets recycled. LSA
Ironman was pretty awesome! You should go.
He don't, although it's a close shave...!
Seriously. I'm going to have him on my desk at work before long.
You will be holding hands on your way out of the theater.
And as for all these people complaining about the lack of "dialogue" in the movie ... they weren't listening!
I could go see Iron Man and Wall-E again ... and that's not the sort of thing i usually say about movies!
Next up in July: Hancock, Hellboy II: The Golden Army, Dark Knight, and X-Files: I Want To Believe. Plus, we haven't seen Wanted yet.
Looking forward to it!
So where is everybody??
At work, probably... Corin’s at the beach... 2J is probably yelling at doctors...
Well things are as slow as usual here, the US is going to hell in a handbasket, the only question is in what circle we will land!
I’ve been over on the guitar list I like, talking strings and a tune I’m learning and other stuff that’d be boring to the folks here...
Most of us are still kind of in reentry mode after camp. Hard to wind down from that.
