Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

Sing hey! for the bath at close of day
That washes the weary mud away!
A loon is he that will not sing:
O! Water Hot is anoble thing!
O! Sweet is the sound of falling rain.
and the brook that leaps from hill to plain;
but better than rain or rippling streams
is Water Hot that smokes and steams.
O! Water cold we may pour at need
down a thirsty throat and be glad indeed;
but better is Beer, if drink we lack,
and Water Hot poured down the back.
O! Water is fair that leaps on high
in a fountain white beneath the sky;
but never did fountain sound so sweet
as splashing Hot Water with my feet!

Afternoon OT - whoo-hooo, stimulus check, well, I can’t think of a better way to stimulate the economy than firearms and ammo. You’ll be able to pick a very nice one with the check.
Ours won’t get here till July. That’s okay cause the MVACA show is the last weekend in July.
I found a better way: New Motherboard, New Hard Drive, new RAM, new Modem. Easy come, easy go, right? Good to be back, so what is new?
So now you have an heirloom computer? :>)
heh.
All I want is a BB gun to pop varmints with.
Okay...we’ve had a sweeper go up and down the street several times. Are they going to pave around the cars parked in the street?
The 3/8” group was with 55gr PSP... with a 1-in-10 twist, I wouldn’t expect it to remain stable beyond 300 yds... the other, even tighter group was with 62 gr BTHPs...
Itsuh 20” Wilson Combat bbl, turned by Bill Wilson himself from a blank after muh gunsmith told him about me, and my need for an sooper accurate bbl fer an EBR... Wilson is going b@lls-to-the-wall crankin’ out 1-in-9 bbls fer the sandbox, so it was askin’ alot...
mrsnad has it in thevan, on her way home... can’t wait to hold it...
It's hot! And I'm up to my ears in kittens.
And we are seeking a convenient CCW class ...
"We see the path that must be walked, and we prepare for the rigors we will face along the way ..."
Heh, yeah.
For some reason I keep pulling up the Bugs Bunny clip where he’s dressed up as a lady hunter. “Did I hurt you with my naughty gun?”
Actually it is now pretty powerful. 1.5 gig RAM, 250 Gig Hard Drive, the same CPU, still have a R/W DVD/CD drive,

You'll shoot your eye out.
“Hey Laughing Boy! One bullet left!”
We ahould get together, I'm up to my ears in RATS!
You know, of course, that you're making me green with accuracy envy. Other than plinking away at 50 yards on an indoor range, I won't be able to try any serious shooting until my AI arrives in September, and I join the Port Huron club with the 600 yard range. And maybe not even then.
My buddy, who's getting the identical type rifle, said to wait until the SHOT Show in January 2009, which he's going to do. He says he can get great deals there on the Schmidt u Bender 12-50 scope this rifle was made for. I could buy the same scope now, but the best deal I could get would still cost me more than my DPMS SASS cost.
bbl=barrel
There is no way my AR can match your AI in long range accuracy... but I’ll make the varmints tremble where’er I go...
Man... hard choice... but it might be werth it to wait until the shot show...
btw, mrsnad’s back... I’ve missed her...
They AR is sweet... I can’t believe the trigger... I’m itchin’ tuh sling lead...
what to name her?... Wilson?... Leg?... as in, it weighs as much as a leg...
Name her "Bea."
As in "be afraid." As in "be safe." As in "be free." As in "be accurate." As in "be American."
Well, thegreycat upped his “cuteness” factor by 10 this morning when he decided to come on our walk, run ahead, hide, and then “ambush” Gypsy when we walked by. So we cut back through the alley and he stayed by the house when we went another way.
We brought him in again last night because of the severe weather warning, and once again he was the perfect gentleman. LSA
