when i first moved here, people used to ask me if it was filthy there, if you got dirty just walking down the street. i had NO IDEA what sort of preconceived notions people had about Pittsburgh, i was dumbfounded.

that Pittsburgh would be #1 at this point, when there can't be a handful of functioning mills, plants, foundries, is ludicrous.
