Yes, had a very nice day. Little ones were so cute. I was pooped from all the cooking and took a nice long nap after they all left.

Lysie, I always have a relaxed, low-stress existance (since January, 2007) when Congress is in recess. Most people, when they say this, will then chuckle and smile as if they are only kidding around. It's not funny to me. I am always serious about this since 95% or more of what this horrible CRAT Congress does is detrimental to our pocketbooks and, more importantly, to our freedoms.

Had this been an actual emergency, you would have been informed.

Does it have a spell check? If not, all your subsequent psoting may have the same problem.

“...The Clinton campaign says Senator Hillary Clinton may have misspoke recently when she said she had to evade sniper fire when she was visiting Bosnia in 1996 as first lady. She has been using the episode as an example of her foreign policy bona fides. I certainly do remember that trip to Bosnia, she said last week. There was a saying around the White House that if a place was too small, too poor, or too dangerous, the president couldnt go, so send the First Lady. “

There was a saying around the White House that if a place was too small, too poor, or too dangerous, the president couldnt go, so send the First Lady. That just goes to show you how desperate Bill was to get rid of her.

misspoke = LYING YOUR PANTS OFF!
Although in her case, perhaps that is a bad mental picture.

That actually was not a “misspoke”. She’s been telling that lie for years and this is the first that she has ever been called on it.
I especially liked your analysis of her situation: LYING YOUR PANTS OFF!
The ‘boys’ could all just change that mental picture to one of the Hollywood “hot ones”.

I could have said LYING LIKE A DOG, but that would be to disparage dogs.
There is always LYING LIKE A RUG, and we could all then have the wonderful mental image of walking all over her face.
LOL!

Wow! There are thousands of Snow Geese in our area. Usually they don't migrate near here.
I'm hoping to get a photo of them tomorrow.

Snow Geese? I don’t believe I’ve ever seen a snow goose. Are they as obnoxious as Canadian Geese?
Someone commented on a Great Blue Heron here on this forum. Was it you, IG? Anyway, we used to live in Stevenson, AL which has a backwater of the Tennessee River and a lot of GBHes lived there. JT used to call them “pond geese.” I thought that was wonderful and it wasn’t until he was about 7 when he learned differently.
