A Visit To RNC Headqaurters In Virtual World, Second Life
Second Life ^ | 2/16/08 | lowbridge

I joined the virtual world known as "Second Life", and took a visit to the RNC headquarters, among many other places. Here is my tour:

A shot of me in my tuxedo.

The bulletin board/sign in front of RNC headquarters

The memorial in front of RNC headquarters

A close up shot of the memorial

The front of RNC Headquartes. I had to float up to get it, the entire front, from this angle.

Another pic of the exterior front of RNC Headquarters

An obnoxious 26 year old Scond Life "reporter" who got in my way and blew his cigarette smoke in my face several times. He belongs to both the Republican Party Group, the socialist group, the libertarian group, the ron paul group, the wes clark for presidency group, etc. When I asked him why he belonged to so many groups politically opposed to each other, he told me that he supported freedom of speech for all and this was his way of keeping informed.

Interior first floor of RNC headquarters. Note the cannon.

Interior first floor of the RNC headquarters, a room off to the left. All of the Presidential candidates.

Interior First Floor, Front Desk, with the obnoxious 26 year old sitting in the chair.

Interior of the upstairs. Presidential portraits lining the walls.

Upstairs interior from another angle.

Exterior front steps facing the memorial

The DNC does not have something similar. The closest is this unofficial Democratic Party Headquarters. A small storefront.

For reasons I do not know, they have a helicopter poking through one of their walls

A view down the street towards the unofficial DNC headquarters. Right down the block from the "Nude West" club. Yes I went in there, No I didnt take any pics inside. They even had a cow in there. When I asked what the cow was doing there, one of the strippers told me that she didnt know, but that you would be surprised at what you can find on the floor at that place.

Another shot of the exterior of the unofficial DNC headquarters. Another one of their neighbors is a Lingerie shop.

Front exterior of the Nude West club. The lady standing out front is the owner of the club. You can just see the cow through the front doors.

Part of communist party headquarters. Note the armored vehicle.

Interior of communist party building.

Another interior shot of commie building. Other guy in there came out of nowhere and began shoving me around all over the building. At first I thought he was a communist thug. But then he told me that he hated communists and wanted to destroy communism, in not such nice language. I told him I wasnt a communist. He told me that he had a rifle pointed at my head. I replied "then go ahead and pull the trigger". He said he believed me that I wasnt a communist, called me a James Bond Clone, and went away.

Interior of commie building. Stalin poster, denouncing Stalin as "not a communist murderer. Just a murderer"

Outside front of commie building, the communist flags.

A different commie building down the street. A Lenin poster.

A exterior shot of a commie building, near the one I was inside of.

Thanks for posting this. I’ve played a little with SL. It seems like you were getting pestered by what are called “griefers” in SL. You may want to look into purchasing some defensive tools that let you deal with them.
