Evening all!

Sorry to miss out on the thread tonight. We’re up in NY state in the middle of an ice storm.

Here’s my thoughts on tonight, in order:

1) David Cook - Made a Lionel Richie tune sound good. Love the guitar.
2) David A - Nice vocals on cheezy Philled Condoms song.
3) Michael Outhouse - Not great vocal but not boring.
4) Chekezy - Nice tone in his voice.
5) Luke - Karaoke, but he sings OK
6) Castro - Couldn’t sing tonight but he was replaced by his brother Raul.
7) Gay Stripper - Boring and vocals were “pitchy.”
8) Danjaya - You can’t get any gayer or worse that that. He makes Liberace look like Chuck Norris.

Who will go home??
Gay boy and either Luke or Castro. But I’d like to see the gay stripper go. Geez, there’s no one to hit on Paula this season!

Re Jason Castro, I hope the makeover people convince him to ditch his dreads, or at least cut them much shorter. They totally destroy his looks and hide his face — to say nothing of the critters that must be living in among all that dead protein.

He seems to be toning down the dreads--they were tied back tonight. But I think he's stuck with them now. If he tries to alter his appearance that way, he'll alienate the voters.

How come when ever PBS has an interesting show on they have to go and ruin it by begging for money?? Why do we even have public television??? It’s 2008, are not enough TV channels really a problem??

Been doing fantasy baseball stuff getting my league draft ready so I am a little late with my ratings tonight.

1. David Cook - Hello - This may have been the performance of the season to this point. Absolutely friggin brilliant. Print it, cut it, sell it and it is top 10 next week.

2. Michael Johns - Don't You - I notice some have him pretty low. I thought this was a great vocal, I really liked it.

3. Chikezie - You're All I Need - His best performance of the year. This is the Chikezie we saw flashes of in the audition and Hollywood.

4. Jason Castro - Hallelujah - excellent vocal from Jason. The kid really does have a great voice.

5. David Archuleta - Another Day in Paradise - I am actually shocked I have him this low, considering I thought the performance was great when he did it. But, as the night went on the others stepped it up to a new level. I still think he is the front runner, but he was just one of 5 good performers tonight.

6. David Hernandez - It's All Coming Back to me now - Not horrible but not great either. A little pitchy in spot, a lot nasally, and he verged on shouting the big parts. his worst performance so far.

7. Luke Menard - Wake me up before I gogo - OK, Luke my boy, a little fatherly advice here : NEVER EVER EVER TELL A STORY INVOLVING YOU AND A TUTU AND THEN SING GEORGE MICHAEL!!! beyond that, it was OK.

8. Dannyelle Noriega - Tainted Love - In paula speak : two words - SUH UCKED!!!!

Should leave : Danny and Luke

My humble prediction: she will never drop out.

Even if Obama wins the nomination, she will stay in the race, using every dirty trick she can to steal the nomination away from him.

If that doesn't work, she will run third party.

And no matter if McCain or Obama wins the election, Hillary will never admit defeat.
