Update: FBI Joins In Manhunt Of Pregnant Marine's Killer

"Charlotte, NC (AHN) - The Federal Bureau of Investigation on Sunday joined North Carolina authorities in the search for Corporal Cesar Armando Laurean, a suspect in the murder of pregnant Lance Corporal Maria Lauterbach, USMC. "

The murder of this young Marine is a tragedy and the FBI will work with our law enforcement partners in North Carolina to locate and arrest Laurean. We will utilize the worldwide capabilities of the FBI to assist in this investigation," Nathan Gray, Special Agent in Charge in Charlotte Division of the FBI, said in a Department of Justice statement Sunday.

He also urged the public who may have information on the whereabouts of the 21-year-old Mexican suspect who allegedly uses aliases as "Cesar Gudino" and "Cesar Sanchez," standing 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing 160 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair.

Laurean may be driving a four-door 2004 Dodge Ram truck, black in color, displaying North Carolina license plate TRR1522, the FBI agent added.
