Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

Sing hey! for the bath at close of day
That washes the weary mud away!
A loon is he that will not sing:
O! Water Hot is anoble thing!
O! Sweet is the sound of falling rain.
and the brook that leaps from hill to plain;
but better than rain or rippling streams
is Water Hot that smokes and steams.
O! Water cold we may pour at need
down a thirsty throat and be glad indeed;
but better is Beer, if drink we lack,
and Water Hot poured down the back.
O! Water is fair that leaps on high
in a fountain white beneath the sky;
but never did fountain sound so sweet
as splashing Hot Water with my feet!

Good Morning ALL:
Brisk out there and ice abounds. Frost on the punkin and the windshields.
Time to prime the cases.
Garden Show - Harbinger of Spring..sigh.
It appears that the pesky groundhog was right, the little furry log.
Yep...it’s a bit brisk out there. I think I’ll give painting a rest today and work on garden planning....need to go grocery shopping at some point.
Izzit too early to start seeds?
We dunno if it’s too early or not. I guess the question is how big do you want the plants to get before you can move them outside?
I’m wondering if I could keep the potting medium warm enough for the seeds to germinate. The temperature in the newly painted office (which should have the warmest and most constant temperature of any room other than the bathroom) was 68 degrees this morning....right in front of the window.
Stop using BitTorrent!
I got a Notice of copyright infringement from Comcast this morning over two episodes of House. I'm not sure what all it means... FRMail me your email addy and I'll forward it to you.
I was reading the “neeew daaaata” guy’s blog this morning and he said that it was going to warm up this week, but we would go back to the cold and stormy pattern we’ve had all winter in the next two-three weeks. He predicted (on the radio yesterday) that this 50 day pattern would continue through the summer. The upside is that possibly it will not be as hot and dry as it was last year, hope so. LSA
How’s Homer this morning? Did a day in the sunshine and fresh air calm him down? LSA
He was ~better~ last night. Still a little midnight whining, and I let him out twice, but no panicking and clinging.
He’s whining a little now, but I think that’s because he wants breakfast.
Did they specifically mention what you were downloading? Or just that you were using BT? I’d be interested in knowing how they knew what you were getting.
So I should ditch the drought-tolerant plants and put in a rain garden?
More about it still. Yes, it’s two episodes of House (It’s not us, we’ve never used BT or watched House) with filename, times and dates:

IMHO, of course.
I agree... Is it going to get me?
Can I at least share a cell with Rosie and not Gladys the Man?
Not that I've spent much time thinking about this situation, or anything.
Ah, what probably happened was someone got in the same torrent you were using, copied all the IPs in that torrent, and then sent letters to the ISPs. So it’s not Comcast spying on you, it’s the MPAA who is then sending letters to Comcast.
From what I’ve been able to figure out, if all you did was download stuff they’d never find you. But since BT is p2p, they can prove the source of infringement by getting it FROM you.
Rosie was sending from her machine, I think.
LOL! That’s terrific!
