Pregame is over. Game On! Iowa Caucus is today! (Vanity)

Well the pre-game is over. Today the game starts in Iowa.

Starting Lineups (alpha order) Visitors Dems: Joe Biden, Hillary Clinton, Chris Dodd, John Edwards, Dennis Kucinich, Barack Obama, and Bill Richardson.

Home GOP: Rudy Giulani, Mike Huckabee, Duncan Hunter, Alan Keyes, John McCain, Ron Paul, Mitt Romney, Fred Thompson.

Predictions on both sides top three in order: Dems: Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, John Edwards GOP: Mitt Romney, Mike Huckabee, Fred Thompson

I think Fred Thompson is going to do better then expected by passing up McCain and Rudy. Mitt and Mike will come in first and second as currently that's where the fighting and free advertisements are.

After Iowa I expect people that missed him to take a second look at Fred. If Fred can beat Rudy and McCain then he'll have perceived traction with the voters and pick up other States in the primaries.

If Fred comes in last (or is beat by Ron Paul at all) his campaign is pretty much done, and so is the GOP.

Go Fred (and bring Hunter with you)!
