The link was broken, but I was able to trace it back anyway.
Very nice, but I believe it's the influence of Haugen and Haas which the Pope wishes to turn his back on. I don't know if it was intentional or not, but that 'Today in music history' list is just a chronicle of self-inflicted stupidity.
