Well I live in California, dude. But I didn't mind spending the $8.00 to see it.

Well worth the price of admission.

I moved to Orange County, California in 1976 from Louisiana (LA to L.A. of sorts)...

I tried to go to a dance place that served drinks (had to be 21).

They would not take my Louisiana Driver's License. They claimed it was a fake ID. The driver's license did not have the state seal on it, which is why they rejected it... Oh well, that is why the movie tickets are so low here... But we definitely have good food in Acadiana (Cajun country of Southwestern Louisiana).

That was one thing that I did not like about Los Angeles -- I found a few good restaurants.

Here in Louisiana, there are some hole-in-the-wall restaurants that have really good food -- even convience stores sometimes have good Po-Boys and other good things...

But I digress...

Getting back to the original title, Lions for Lambs is not only now showing at less than half the theaters it was here in my city, but at one theater there are two showtmes daily for it. At the other theater, there is only one showtime daily, with two showtimes on Saturday/Sunday.

Bella, on the other hand, has 4 showtimes each day -- which means even though Lions for Lambs is at two theaters, there are more showings for Bella each week in the one theater it is playing at.

Of course, the marketers of Lions for Lambs probably bought the two theaters for a period of time, and it is a way to fulfill the agreement.

But a stinker is a stinker, and a good film is a good film...

It's A Wonderful Life -- the famous Jimmy Stewart/Frank Capra film bombed at the box office... Later it became legendary...
