Had to drive through it every day back in high school. Not the best reminder of home, but a reminder I look forward to every time.

Which H.S.? (Can I guess Marquette?)

Good guess. (You’re correct)

The most worrisome issue is will Miller Park still be named so?

I have a couple younger cousins who graduated from Marquette.

I graduated from Wauwatosa West (Go Trojans!)

I would think so. We'll have to wait and see.

Its going to traumatic enough moving back so I hope you’re right!

I have a feeling that just about everyone in that town has sent some family member to MUHS...

That is something, isn’t it? I grew up in Milwaukee. I know just what you mean.

But try to avoid being downwind from an “alewife beaching” on a hot, summer day, LOL!

“I remember as a kid in Eau Claire, that the regular Leinenkugel was pretty good though.”

They make a nice Red, too. Even their regular stuff is better than Miller Lite. Why bother? It’s not even beer! ;)

I love The Safe House. Been there many times over the years. It’s always so much fun to take someone there that’s never been before. Tee-Hee! :)

That one’s too sweet for me. Some women I used to work with would do half Honey, half Berry. Blech! They’d try to fix it like a Black & Tan, but they didn’t know what the h#ll they were doing, LOL!

Been a while since I was there......Dhamer had just did the deed on his victims and Daddy Bush was visiting. I was on his USSS detail and he spoke at the Phister.......:o)

Great little town !

The Safe House is indeed a Hoot ! Went into that entry that looked like someones den and we started to back out fast as it was obvious we had entered someones home.........and then ya know the rest of the story !

All fun ! Alibi phone still there ?

Even took in the free samples and tour at the Pabst Brewery . I see now it’s closed ......Dang !

Stay safe !

I haven’t been to the Safe House in seven years or so, but I’ll never forget it. The first time I went there, I couldn’t believe that my date knew of this cool “secret” bar. I later took a date there who ended up becoming my Husband.

It makes a lasting impression. :)
