How do I delete items from my "Ping List"? Sorry to bother you with this, but I looked everywhere and could not find any help. I am trying to get rid of a lot of old stuff here and elsewhere on my computer and your server.
Thanks,
Learner.

hit ctrl-alt-delete all at the same time.

The only way I’m aware of is to contact the owner of that list & request to be removed from it.

FReepmail whoever sent you the ping and ask them to remove you from the list. It’s the polite way of getting removed.

I think he/she is talking about the record of their posts and posts to them, what you see when you follow the ‘pings’ link from the forum.

You can’t, they aren’t on your computer, they are now part of the forum. They aren’t separate records you can delete, they’re part of the threads they’re posted on.
To: JustaDumbBlonde
I don’t think they can be deleted.

Only workable solution I can think of is to register under a new name, and forget you ever existed before that point. :)

Once pinged, forever pinged unless the owner provides some modifications that allow you to wipe the slate clean.

Just try to get yourself banned. That will get rid of those pesky pings, past, present and future.

Go buy a bottle of Liquid Paper. Also, if you ever experience slow internet speed, paint your modem red.
